Basically, The Walking Dead is about survival - either through cooperation or selfishness. This action-adventure strategy faithfully recreates the setting of the graphic novel and rewards brutal, bloodthirsty gameplay. Successful missions mean more food and other supplies that players can then use to expand and improve their cities. When they don't, they fight zombies and other human survivors in turn-based combat in familiar Walking Dead locations.
Players help with this by building a city, collecting resources and creating useful items. In it, Rick Grimes and company are pitted against Governor of Woodbury in the hopes of creating a safe haven for the survivors. The characters have the same names as in the AMC series, but they look different in this adventure. The game features characters from the series of graphic novels by Robert Kirkman in a completely new story by The Walking Dead writer Jay Bonansing.
The Walking Dead: The Road to Survival is a role-playing strategy that will not make anyone bored.
